Top-Down Shooter
This was an assignment set for me as part of a team to create a game over a couple of weeks using the TL-Engine which was provided by the university. The project itself meant that we would have to work together to come up with the idea and also develop the game, which we would then present to the rest of the class.
The game is a top down shooter as you can clearly see from the title, which involves a hover-tank firing at a constant stream of enemy trucks and army vehicles. The game features an interactive GUI including main screen, pause screen and game over screen. You can see the main screen in the video below:

The game itself is very simplistic and is not exactly challenging as there isn't really any goals other than survive as long as possible. Below is some footage of the actual game play and the Game Over screen:
A lot was learnt from this project as it involved a lot of teamwork and also showed the pitfalls of a seemingly unmanaged team. I would say that as an outcome the game was pretty much a failure although showed the development side of programming such as the organisation and the annoyance of different versions that people may have.
